Pick-up from your hotel or villa. Our tour begins at mid-day to avoid the crowds, and free roundtrip transport is included. Please refrain from having lunch; we will serve you onboard our comfortable support boat.

Arrive at Ao Por Pier, board our modern twin-engine escort boat, enjoy a Thai-style light lunch, and receive a trip and safety briefing.

Arrive at the first island and explore 1-2 caves and hongs (Thai for “Room”). After lunch, a professional guide will paddle with you through Phang Nga Bay’s “Tidal Nape Sea Caves” in our custom-designed kayaks, hand-made in Oregon by SOTAR, the world's premier white water raft manufacturer. This unique experience is dramatic, but our custom kayaks are specially designed for your trip, and we've never had capsizing, punctures, or accidents.

Return to the escort boat and move to the second island.These hidden cliff-lined lagoons are populated with macaques, water monitors, kingfishers, mudskippers, egrets, Sea Eagles, and Brahminy Kites.

Explore two more caves and hongs.

Craft your own Kratong and enjoy self-paddling your kayak and swimming. After dark, we'll float these self-made flower 'Kratongs' in a spiritual and spectacular natural light show, concluding the day.

Savor a Thai buffet dinner during the Phang Nga Bay sunset. We shop daily for the highest quality, healthy ingredients. Seafood is net-caught, and chicken is free-range. We serve brown, red, and black rice along with our homemade Masaman curry.

Return to your kayak after dark to float your Kratong and witness bioluminescent plankton. Guests describe our evening Loi Kratong ceremony, complete with dinoflagellates (bioluminescent plankton), as a "spiritual experience," "the best trip of our lives anywhere," and "the best Thai food we've ever had – and on a boat."

Customized van transfers will be arranged one or two hours before departure, depending on the location of your accommodation.

At Phuket Explore, your safety is our top priority. Before every trip, we meticulously check tides, swell charts, and weather reports. If there is any potential risk to you or our boats, we will cancel the trip well in advance. However, please note that a little rain won’t dampen our spirits. It’s common for Phuket to experience brief showers, usually lasting around 30 minutes, with the rest of the day filled with glorious sunshine.

Phang Nga Bay tours offer a more sheltered experience with smaller waves and reduced wind effects, making them an excellent choice during monsoon season (June to October).
